Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 was my first full project cycle in the industry. I joined during its concept phase and saw it through to ship and beyond including its first expansion - Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels.

During this time, I worked on an enormous variety of tools and workflows, including systems for working with bézier curves, and the authoring and build pipeline tooling for the procedural world generation system. Day-to-day I worked closely with world-class artists, designers, and content creators to create, refine, improve, and redesign an immense variety of workflows. I enjoy listening to them carefully, watching them work, and collaboratively reaching the best solution. Doing this, I have learned the importance of communication throughout development, in addition to the importance of stability – leading me to use test-driven development frequently in my work.
