Good Day!

I'm Liv, and I am a Tools Engineer specialised in building, maintaining, and improving bespoke toolsets.

Where Did It All Begin?

Some of my earliest memories are that of myself sat on my dad's lap, playing games, such as Far Cry and Star Wars: Republic Commando on his bedroom PC. Though you could say that these games are unsuitable for children, I would argue that this laid the foundation of my love for games, so that it may flourish in my first year of high school.

For the record, my dad would argue that he is still a responsible parent because he drew the line before DOOM 3.

Early Life

During high school, my dad bought me my first laptop to help with my education. However, he did not expect me to take such an interest in writing code. Within a few months, I had downloaded a Java IDE and started programming server-side utilities for Minecraft using the Bukkit API. Thus began the spiral into programming, using Java for my A-Level project and then C/C#/C++ for my university projects.
